Anderson Plug Mounts

Overview 

Anderson Plug mount for the exterior of a 4WD canopy, camper trailer or van.

Available in range of sizes to suit 50A and 175A plugs.

Includes base mount and top cover (Hardware optional: 4x M5 x 20mm Stainless steel countersunk bolts with nylon lock nuts and washers)

Does not include Anderson plugs or wiring.

The lip or groove on the top cover sits inside the groove of the base to prevent water ingress. For an added level of security, a very thin bead of silicone can be applied to this groove to create a silicone gasket between the two pieces.

50A 2 pin Single: H 23mm x W 75mm x L110mm

Install:

1. Decide on your install location and scribe the rectangle cut outs, 4 main bolt holes to the mounting surface.
2. Drill all holes and cut out within marked areas for cable entry.
3. Install the base plate with a small amount of silicon on the mounting surface (optionally, secure each Anderson plug with M3 bolts through the plug, base plate and inside the canopy)
4. Align the end of the Anderson with the edge of the base plate vertically and push fit the plugs into the mount. Secure the cover to the base with supplied bolts.
5. Do not overtighten the bolts!   

Notes: 

1. This product is 3D printed and will have visible layer lines from the Manufactuing process. These can be sanded and painted, however, it is not required.
2. M3 bolts are not supplied. They are rarely needed to secure the Anderson plugs to the cover. The grooves in the cover provides an interface to the plug such that it doesn't pull out.
